Happy New Year

I spent the last part of the night and welcomed the new year online looking at beautiful inspiring blogs that I will post later. My friend Dorian gave me a GREAT art blogging book called "Artful Blogging" and I found the most lovely, inspiring blogs in it. One of the blogs in the book mentioned a group called "Shades of Inspiration" an online photography weekly challenge. So here is my entry for the week's challenge Black, gold, silver and sparkle! I hope you enjoy it.

Also, as I'm sure EVERYONE wants to know, here are my New Year's Resolutions.

1. Spend at least an hour a day in the studio creating something.

2. Update this blog once a week. It will probably be Sundays as that's usually the most laid back day I have.

3. Love more.

4. Laugh more.

5. Spend time with friends more, both old and new.

6. Lose weight-Dr. ordered.

7. Give more, of myself, my talents, my time, and as I can my money.

8. Cherish my family more.

9. Write my mother's history in booklet form.

10. Work on my photography.
