It has been a wet December, we've had a bunch of rain and gray skies, but today was very lovely. Light, sunny, and even warm. Looking at my garden chairs in the back yard during the gray made me remember a very beautiful autumn day when the sun cast itself over the chairs and table. The Orange and Yellow of the leaves in the background glowed, and the whole area was bathed in magic.
While today's light didn't fall on the table or chairs, remanants of the great memory because of the beautiful sunlight on the rest of the woods, awakened my spirit once more. The trees are bare now, waiting, sleeping, but soon they will be full of new life again, bursting forth in blooms and green leaves.
I like to think the woodland fairies are resting too. They've had their winter solstice dance under the full moon and are now resting under leaves. Waiting for warm days to awaken the bloom, they sleep dreaming of the nectar of new growth.
Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog, Donna.
Happy New Year to you!

How delightful it is to see the ground! Snow is nice, but--enough, as they say, is enough.

Good cheer, Donna. I found your note in Spamland--call it a candle lit!

It never fades out. You still have the magic hands.
